Welcome to the homepage of the Trinidad Triggers! The Trinidad Triggers are an expansion team in the Pecos League of Professional Baseball Clubs. They will report to Trinidad May 1, 2012 and begin play on May 8, 2012.
The Pecos League owns the Triggers. Justin Lowery is the field manager, JD Droddy is the assistant coach and the Triggers will play at Central Park in Trinidad.
Where is Trinidad?
Trinidad is the Southern Most City in Colorado on Interstate 25. It is 80 miles south of Pueblo and 130 miles north of Santa Fe. See our league mileage map here.Who named the team the Triggers??

Triggers are part of Trinidad's present-Hunting and TSJC's famous Gunsmithing Department are important to the town's image and economy, and the NRA has the Whittington Center in Raton.

What is the Pecos League?
The Pecos League is a New Mexico based independent professional baseball league which operates in cities throughout West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. Pecos Teams play in cities that do not have Major or Minor League Baseball teams and is not affiliated with either. The Pecos League is where the Land of Enchantment meets the Lone Star State. The league's high power offenses are fueled by high altitudes and smaller ballparks.
